What is Ultimate Texas Hold’em?

Ultimate Texas Hold’em is a casino table game that closely mirrors real Texas Hold’em poker. You receive two hole cards, share five community cards with the dealer, and try to make the best five-card hand. What makes it unique is the ability to make a large blind bet early — before the flop — to get better payout odds.

The bet structure

Place equal Ante and Blind bets before the deal. After seeing your two hole cards you can Bet 3x or 4x the Ante (a 4x bet before the flop), or check. After the flop (three community cards) you can bet 2x the Ante or check. After the turn and river you must either bet 1x the Ante or fold. The Blind bet pays enhanced odds only if your hand is a straight or better.

Why bet early?

Betting 4x before the flop when you have a strong hand locks in the best payout multiplier. Checking through multiple streets and betting later is sometimes correct with uncertain hands. The game rewards players who can read hand strength early and commit chips when the odds are in their favor. The house edge with optimal play is around 2.2%.
