GamCare also provides structured counseling (both in-person and online) through its treatment network and via the NHS. Resources for family members and friends of problem gamblers are available, recognizing that gambling harm extends beyond the individual player.
GamCare’s role in the industry
GamCare works with gambling operators to develop responsible gambling standards and training. The GamCare Safer Gambling Standard is a certification that operators can earn by meeting GamCare’s criteria for player protection.
